Speech of freshman representative

I had the honor of representing the entire incoming class by delivering a speech at our entrance ceremony. Facing an audience of more than 500 students and parents, I shared my personal dreams and ambitions for my high school years. At one point, I realized I had misspoken, but thanks to my previous experience, I calmly corrected myself and finished the speech without faltering. The pressure was immense, but the sense of achievement I felt afterward was even greater.
