From the beginning of high school, I joined the futsal club, where I immersed myself in honing tactical thinking and teamwork every day. I first approached it thinking it was just like soccer, but I was quickly captivated by the distinct strategies born from its smaller teams and court size. This challenge motivated me and my teammates to push our limits to achieve victory.
There was an incredible sense of accomplishment and team unity when a strategy we brainstormed together resulted in a successful goal during a match. Futsal taught me that while individual technique is crucial, it's the strategic coordination—knowing precisely when and where to apply a skill—that truly defines the game. It sharpened my ability to understand and execute my role within a team, offering a new and valuable perspective that complemented my soccer experience.
