9th grade: January to February 2022 (6 weeks)
I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in a six-week study abroad program at the California School of the Arts in Los Angeles, learning alongside American students. The classroom environment was a dynamic fusion of technology and lively discussion, where I eagerly contributed my own ideas. Living with a host family and connecting with new friends and teachers gave me a profound, firsthand insight into American life, culture, and values.
This journey was a thrilling and eye-opening experience; I was completely fascinated by the American approach to education and the welcoming people I met. It expanded my worldview and cemented my dream of attending a university in the United States. Being in a classroom where every voice was heard and valued taught me the true significance of global collaboration and cross-cultural communication.
